Our Process

• Visit The Cat Hut in person or complete the online questionnaire before you visit.  If you don’t have a specific cat or kitten in mind, please put “undecided” for Cat’s Name.  We keep applications on file for up to six months. Adoptions require an approved application.
• A team member will contact you as soon as possible with an update on the cat you selected and schedule a time to meet, if you’re driving from a distance.  Please understand that while we update the online adoptable list regularly, we cannot guarantee that the one that caught your eye is still available.  
• There is never any obligation to adopt.  If it’s a match, your new furry friend can go home that day!  
• Please bring a cat carrier with you or we have some for purchase.   All cats and kittens are required to be safely confined in a carrier before leaving The Cat Hut.

All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia, and treated for fleas and common parasites prior to adoption.  Further, veterinary care is the responsibility of the adopter.  We will provide you with a copy of their medical records to date.
