 HAMILTON COUNTY ANIMAL ADVOCATES

MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR CATS AND THE PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR THEM SINCE 2017

MISSION STATEMENT

To help cats, their caregivers, and communities in Hamilton County, Iowa through three programs:

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of community and barn cats.

CatSNAP (Cat Spay/Neuter Assistance Program) for qualifying low-income residents of Hamilton County.

• Adoption of cats and kittens into loving homes with priority given to kittens rescued through TNR programs.

Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes started as a Trap-Neuter-Return organization to combat the cat overpopulation crisis in our area.  Adoption was not part of the original plan, but a question quickly came up: What can we do with the kittens?!  Area shelters were too full to help.

What began with a handful of kitten adoptions out of a licensed foster home quickly became more than a few volunteers could handle.  In 2022, The Cat Hut opened in Webster City with two paid employees, resulting in an immediate, positive impact on the number of cats we’re able to help.

Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes receives no government funding and relies on donations from heroes like you to continue this important work and Save More Lives!
